Hyde Park - Kensington part 5

Statue at kensington Palace

Kensington Palace Gardens

From there we headed home, the plan was to go out that night, my other flatmate’s brother was in town and they wanted to go out. And so we did.. we headed out by 10pm and ended up at a small little club (and I mean tiny! Smaller than vintage! - whitney and tasha will know what i mean) in covent garden’s.. it was hot and crowded. had a few drinks (ok 3) called whitney ( did you get it?) and got hit on by the old guy with the kids who insisted I was from New York and wouldn’t leave me alone! why do i always get hit on by the old one with teenage kids? Is it tattooed on my forehead? Of course the girls met two guys from Denmark, I thought one of them was going to deck the guy who was bothering me, he insisted he wanted to share a bottle of champagne with me - I HATE champagne.. ugh! so for 2 hours I ended up just trying to hide from the guy.. which was kind of hard seeing how small the place was. Finally we left at 4 (thank God!) and walked in the rain for a few blocks until we got to the bus stop waiting for the night bus. We made it home by 5 am.. *sigh*. then I got up 4 hours later so I could make service at St. Paul’s, I was really amazed I didn’t fall asleep while there. It was nice. then I ended up at a farmers market at Marylybone, got a huge cucumber and then home. I ended up going out later because I needed to watch Pride and Prejudice and forgot my copy at home... but I justified it, it’s the British version, plus it’s was only 4 pounds, lol

and I’ve watched it 3 times since I got it this afternoon. lol

That was my weekend.. enjoy the pics.. there are lots! I’m off to bed, tomorrow again a very busy day..less than two weeks before I go home and Paris this weekend!

Good night
