18 pages, 77 questions, multiple choice - THANK GOD! The questions where all vaguely familiar but I can’t for certain say I felt confident in my choices. It’s like I vaguely remember the answer but not sure. He said it was taken directly from his lecture when we where out and about but half the time we can barely hear him and he tends to ramble and every so often he’ll say “this is important, remember this” and then moves on without repeating it,. even we we ask him to. *sigh* But at this point, I DON’T CARE! Apparently 60% here is an A, the grading is different here.
And I also don’t feel bad because I talked to several other of my class mates and they felt the same way, one of the girls is convinced he’s insane and on drugs.. lol I just think he’s a little loopy. I mean, I really, really like the class. We get to experience London History first hand by visiting all these places (inspite of my aching feet and blisters), it’s just hard to know what will be on the test. But like I said, I DON’T CARE. If I get a really poor grade I’ll do the project instead of taking the final test (we get to choice) and that will be that. :)
After the debacle of the mid-term Megan and I had bland fish and chips (even though we where told it was the best fish and chips place in the area) and then I headed off to Tate Modern for my afternoon class.
I took the tube to St. Paul’s and since I had time to kill I took some more pics of St. Paul’s from the south end. (see below) Aren’t they pretty? If you cross the street from the south side entrance there is this walk way that takes you directly to the Millennium foot bridge and straight to Tate Modern (see pic below) and since it was such a pretty day (even with the clouds rolling in) I had fun people watching as I made my way to class. By the time I made it to the Millennium bridge the wind had picked up something fierce. It was so strong my ear buds from my iPod kept on falling out, i actually had to pull up my hoodie on my sweater.
Finally met up with my class... now I’m not really into modern art, I prefer the old school of art. But I got to say, Tate Modern is pretty impressive and they did have some piece of art along with artist I do like. I was very happy to see on the the only modern artist I did like and that is Miro, they had quite a few of his paintings up. They also had a Jackson Pollock, Claude Monte, Pablo Picasso and Matisse. They also had a Dali exhibition that I plan to go back to, it was to late to go by the time class was over.
I had a very enjoyable class. Afterwards I walked back towards the Borough Market and on the way showed my other flat mate where the original site of The Globe was at and we walked by the Pirate ship. then took the tube from London Bridge back home.
Now tomorrow, I’m off bright and early to Stonehedge (yeah!) and Bath where I will be having tea with Mr. Darcy (lol) at the Jane Austen Centre (double yeah!) And I’ll have many more pictures when I get back.
But for now, I need to get to bed! This week has been exhausting!
So enjoy the pictures and more tomorrow.

Matt and I bought a house.
So completely random. It's a story for a phone convo, so maybe sometime soon we'll chat I'll share. :)
